Lapel shape, pocket style, button selection.....put your personal stamp on the design of your bespoke garment.
Try on a sample (known as a block) and discuss with me how we could improve the fit. Giving you a clear idea how it will feel before it's made.
Choose your cloth, style, lining, buttons, lapel shape etc. along with our vast selection of beautiful British cloth.
Once the suit has been designed/styled, allow me to try you in a sample Master Garment. This allows you to feel and see how the final garment would look and feel before it is made. Talk through and design all the options and I will pin and measure the master garment, shaping it closely to your body.
Once these measurements are taken the garment is created in a dedicated tailoring factory in Europe and will take 3-4 weeks to complete.
A single fitting in the final garment is undertaken to check if any tweaks may be needed.
Once the garment is complete, we keep all your measurements and details on file to ensure the next is just as satisfactory.
The higher the armhole of the jacket sits, the more comfort it offers.
It also offers more space to shape the waist for a fitted jacket.
Ensuring the jacket is 'anchored to the neck' is vital to the overall 'balance' of the jacket.
No one likes a jacket that gapes at the back of the neck.
The balance of the jacket keeps the garment hanging correctly when buttoned and un-buttoned.
If the balance is not correct, the whole garment is affected.
Hang the trouser from the true waist. not low, like jeans.
Braces allow the trouser to hang, rather then squeezing in at the waist.
The best trouser fitting comes with wearing braces.
I can offer advice all day long, but you have to wear the garment.
Discuss every detail with me up front.
The jacket must cover the seat.
The waistcoat must cover the waistband of the trouser.
The leg length should reflect the overall cut and factor in the size and style of shoe.
