Huddersfield

One of the oldest trademarked companies in the country. Marling & Evans create the most beautiful cloth with mixes of wool, linen and silk. They offer a completely natural fabric range with no dyes used at all with wool from British flocks.

The texture, pattern and finish of these fabrics make them a perfect selection for a Nicholas Simon garment, creating more interesting and luxurious looking tailoring.

The must have cloth for any discerning gentleman

Charcoal fresco wool jacket, part of a suit. With white shirt and purple tie

Fresco Wool

Worsted Spun Flannel

Harris Tweed

Slightly coarse in texture due to the loose weave of the yarn. But this allows air to travel through the yarn and stands up to creasing beautifully well.

Perfect for warm climates (light weight) and for travel suits (heavy weight).

Once you've tried fresco, you'll be in love.

Worsted Spun Flannel

Harris Tweed

Scotland is a wonderful place, and not just because it produces the incomparable tweed on the Isle of Harris.

Perfect for a sports jacket and really stands out as a three piece suit.

It's heavy, it's woolly, it's natural. My favourite in herringbone patterns as pictured.

Worsted Spun Flannel

Worsted Spun Flannel

Flannel is a classic. You can't go wrong!

Woollen flannel is very natural and textured.

Worsted spun flannel is flatter, smoother and lighter in weight.

Grey and charcoal colours have a deep texture and add incredible depth to the garment.
